Dennis Stamp

Biography

Dennis Stamp was an American wrestler and referee, known for his work in the AWA and various NWA territories in the 70s and 80s. He was a tag team and television champion, and became recognized for his ability to help elevate other stars. After retiring from wrestling, he worked in pest control and wrote the book The Stamp Collection. In 2016, he was diagnosed with cancer, which he passed away from in 2017. He gained cult status for his appearance in the documentary Beyond the Mat, where his personality and iconic phrases made him a fan favorite.
